Getting Started
This guide will take you through the complete process from starting the software to completing video processing.
Step 1: Launch the Application
Double-click the Video Magic icon to launch the application. On first startup, the software will check the license status.
Step 2: Add Source Videos
Adding Video Files
- Click the "Add Videos" button on the main interface
- In the file selection dialog, select the video files you want to process
- Support selecting multiple video files simultaneously for batch processing
Supported Video Formats
Video Magic supports most common video formats, including:
- MP4
- MOV
- AVI
- MKV
- FLV
- WMV
Video Information Preview
After adding videos, you can see for each video in the list:
- Filename
- Resolution
- Duration
- File size
- Thumbnail preview
Step 3: Configure Processing Parameters
After adding videos, you need to configure various processing parameters according to your needs. All parameters are optional, you can choose to use them based on actual requirements.
Video Concatenation Settings
If you need to create split-screen effects:
- Expand the "Video Concat" tab
- Check "Enable Concat"
- Select concat mode (horizontal or vertical)
- Select the video file or folder containing videos to concatenate
Tip
If you select a folder, the software will randomly select a video from that folder to concatenate with each source video, creating more diverse outputs.
Audio Settings
Adding Background Music
- Expand the "Audio Options" tab
- Check "Add Background Music"
- Click "Browse" to select an audio file
- Set background music volume range (e.g., 30%-50%)
Adjusting Original Video Volume
- Check "Adjust Volume"
- Set volume range (e.g., 80%-100%)
Randomized Parameters
Volume range settings allow the software to randomly select a volume value for each video during batch processing, making outputs more diverse.
Watermark Settings
Adding Media Watermark
- Expand the "Watermark Options" tab
- Check "Add Media Watermark"
- Select watermark file (image or video)
- Set watermark position (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, center, or custom)
- Adjust watermark size percentage (recommended 10%-20%)
- Set watermark opacity (recommended 0.5-0.8)
Adding Scrolling Text
- Check "Add Scrolling Text"
- Enter the text content to display
- Set font size and color
- If scrolling effect is needed:
- Check "Enable Scrolling"
- Select scrolling direction (left, right, up, down)
- Set scrolling speed range
- Optional: Enable text background and set background color and opacity
Subtitle Settings
If you want to add hardcoded subtitles:
- Expand the "Subtitle Options" tab
- Check "Hardcoding Subtitle"
- Select subtitle file (SRT or ASS format)
- Set font size and color
Note
Hardcoded subtitles will be permanently embedded in the video and cannot be turned off during playback. Please ensure the subtitle timeline matches the video.
Video Effects Settings
Fade In/Out Effects
- Expand the "Video Effects" tab
- Check "Fade Effect"
- Set fade in duration range (recommended 0.5-2 seconds)
- Set fade out duration range (recommended 0.5-2 seconds)
Video Speed Adjustment
- Check "Adjust Video Speed"
- Set speed range (e.g., 0.8-1.2)
Tip
- Values less than 1.0 will slow down the video
- Values greater than 1.0 will speed up the video
- Audio will automatically adjust synchronously
Metadata Settings
- Expand the "Metadata Options" tab
- Select metadata processing mode:
- Preserve Original: Keep original video metadata
- Remove All: Delete all metadata (protect privacy)
- Custom: Set new metadata
If custom mode is selected:
- Fill in basic information like title, artist, album
- Click "Add Custom Field" to add more information
Step 4: Set Output Options
Select Output Directory
- Expand the "Output Options" section
- Click "Browse" to select output folder
- Or use the default output directory
Set Processing Count
Enter the number of copies to generate for each source video in the "Count" field.
Batch Generation
If you set random parameter ranges (such as volume, speed, etc.), each copy will be slightly different, which is very useful for batch creating unique content.
Step 5: Preview Effects (Optional)
Before starting batch processing, it's recommended to preview the effects:
- Select a video from the video list
- Click the "Preview" button
- View the preview with all effects applied
- If parameter adjustments are needed, return to modify and preview again
Step 6: Start Processing
After confirming all settings are correct:
- Click the "Start Batch Processing" button
- The software starts processing videos, you can see:
- Current processing progress
- Processing speed
- Estimated remaining time
- A success notification will be displayed when processing is complete
Processing Time
Processing time depends on:
- Source video size and duration
- Number of effects applied
- Computer performance
Step 7: View Output Results
After processing is complete:
- Click the "Open Output Directory" button, or manually navigate to the output folder
- Find the processed video files
- Use a video player to view the effects
- Perform subsequent processing or publishing as needed
Common Operation Tips
Managing Video List
- Delete Single Video: Select the video, click "Delete"
- Delete Multiple Videos: Hold Ctrl/Cmd to multi-select, then click "Delete"
- Clear List: Click "Clear Videos" to delete all videos
Save and Load Configuration

Future versions will support saving and loading common configurations for easy reuse.
Interrupting Processing
If you need to stop processing midway:
- Close the application to stop current processing
- Completed videos will be retained, incomplete ones will be discarded
